Fall Essential Oils For Your Farmhouse
Written by Ann Dragt
Diffusing essential oils is a great way to bring the fall air into your very own farmhouse. These following fall essential oils work perfectly well on their own, but you can also combine them to create a unique blend for your farmhouse.
Almond
Almond is the perfect scent as a fall essential oil, with a rich and nutty smell. Particularly, pure bitter almond essential oil is great to fill your house with a food-like scent that also carries a hint of cherry. Almond is a good fit for your farmhouse’s entryway or mudroom.
Fall Essential Oils: Sweet Orange
Sweet orange pairs well with the season of fall. Add sweet orange to nutmeg, or use it by itself in your kitchen to complement any baked goods that might be filling the oven.
Cinnamon
Cinnamon is one of the classic cozy essential oils that might come to mind when thinking of fall. A powerful and broadly-used scent, you can use cinnamon all over the farmhouse to evoke fall feelings. Since it’s a bit more fragrant and recognizable of a scent, keep it in a confined area, such as a bathroom or bedroom. We also recommend adding fewer drops then normal so the scent isn’t overwhelming.
Fennel and Pine for Fall Essential Oils
This woodsy combination is perfect to bring fall to your living room. If you end up liking the scent, bring it over your dining room to compliment your fall tablescape. This essential oil combination is just subtle enough to hint at a farmhouse scent, yet powerful enough to ensure all in your farmhouse are feeling the fall spirit.
