Bunnies, bees and birds—oh my! Spring is the perfect time to refresh your interiors and celebrate (or hope for) the budding and warming world outside. Here are some of our top tips for learning how to style spring decor.

The front porch to homeowner Kayla Currier‘s house is small but mighty. “I tell people to just keep it simple,” Kalya says. Her standard year-round front porch décor includes a wreath, flower pot and a concrete bunny. “I’ll tie a color in from the inside into the outside in the bunny or on the wreath,” she says. Greet Guests with a Vignette.

Whether that’s a simple spring wreath or a full decor vignette on your front porch, make sure the entrance to your home reflects your spring decor inside. When styling decorations, try to group items together in odd numbers, such as 3 and 5, for the most aesthetic appeal.

Consider Wall Art.

To style spring decor vignettes, use wall art as well as smaller accessories. These don’t have to be large pieces; in fact, smaller art pieces clumped together creates a charming vignette look that will help mark the season. Combine your wall art pieces with a few smaller accessories for the perfect spring vignette.

Use Open Bookshelves.

It’s sometimes hard to find open surfaces on which to style spring decor. Bookshelves provide a great space for a few vignettes with bunnies, indoor plants, nests, baskets and other spring decor. Even if you just have one spot you can switch out for the season, let it shine by making it eye-catching.

Go Outside.

Don’t just style spring decor inside—take it out to your front porch, back patio and other outdoor areas too. Find a few outdoor-friendly spring items, such as a concrete bunny or plastic-woven basket. Group them together by the door or on an outdoor table for a spring vignette that will catch the eye without you having to put in too much work.
