Proudly Introducing our 2025 Brand Ambassador
Lynn Langford of Rochelle, GA won the hearts and votes of our community to capture the 2025 Brand Ambassador crown. Here’s a word from Lynn.
Hey there, Farmhouse Friends!
I am extremely honored and excited to have been chosen as the American Farmhouse Style Brand Ambassador for 2025! I look forward to sharing with you in more detail all of the tips and tricks I use to style my home year-round. I’ll also be sharing simple DIY projects, fun seasonal crafts, delicious recipes and some of my thrifting adventures.
We built our little country home in 2008 and continue to update and add the charm and character I love so much. I believe our homes should be havens for us and our families, but it doesn’t have to break a budget to make that happen. By being creative and learning to do simple DIYs, we can achieve a cozy, safe place for our families to thrive and our guests to enjoy.
I hope you will join me on this journey and experience the fun along the way. See you again soon!
Get to Know Lynn
My husband (whom I lovingly refer to as Mister) and I are enjoying our empty nest years. We are lifelong South Georgia residents and live in the small rural community of Rochelle, Georgia. We have been married for 23 years and both have sons from previous marriages. We still have a baby at home though, our 3-year-old Shorkie named Ellie who captures the heart of everyone she meets.
When we are not working on a DIY project around the house, we enjoy hiking, camping, vintage car shows, going junkin’ and spending time with family. Fun fact about us: We have hiked the entire Georgia section of the Appalachian Trail. We also traveled over 200 miles of the infamous Route 66 in his 1946 Dodge pickup truck, a family heirloom that he lovingly restored.
I have loved decorating spaces since I was a little girl. As a child, I was so obsessed with house plans that I would use graph paper to create many of my own. I attended a Junior college after high school and graduated with an associate degree in Fashion Merchandising. Years later, I went back to school to study psychology. I graduated from Liberty University with a BS Psychology: Christian Counseling and MA Human Services. I currently work from home as an advocate for individuals with mental and developmental disabilities.
I’m a long-time lifestyle blogger and blog at athomeinthewildwood.com. I love to hang out on Instagram and Facebook, so you can find me by that same name there if you love social media too. I’m also a published author and have written two children’s books.
I look forward to sharing my life with you this year and taking you along for all the projects and adventures we get into along the way!
