I love crates!

I love crates! I found this old chippy white crate at a flea market a few months ago. I have so many crates at home that it’s getting hard to find new places to put them.

That led me to brainstorming other ways that I could use this amazing crate. I’m a plant lover though and through so naturally I decided to turn it into a planter!

I don’t know about you but I love an easy upcycled DIY project. This DIY literally took just a few minutes to do.

Supplies:

  1. 1 crate (new or old)
  2. Hair pin legs. I bought mine on Amazon.
  3. An impact drill.
  4. Screws. My hairpin legs came with their own screws.

Directions:

  1. Turn your crate upside down
  2. Align the hairpin legs in the corner of your crate
  3. We pre-drilled holes with a drill bit first
  4. Line up the screws with the pre-drilled holes.
  5. Screw in the screws.

Now have fun filling your new planter with flowers, plants, a fall display using pumpkins and gourds. The possibilities are endless!!
