DIY Spring Basket Archway

Create a stunning entrance with a beautiful spring basket archway.
While especially perfect for a greenhouse, this spring basket archway project works well for any doorway. Homeowner Holly Blain, blogger and Instagrammer at Rustic Wild Arrow, shows you how.

What You’ll Need:
- Chicken wire
- 25 baskets, varying shapes and sizes (Holly got hers at thrift stores)
- Zip ties
- 5 to 7 small potted plants
- Faux greenery of choice
- Faux flowers of choice
What You’ll Do:
- Shape the chicken wire into a large arch. Make sure it will fit around the doorway, then secure it to the wall (your method of doing this will depend on the wall material). Make sure it’s secure enough to support weight.
- Using zip ties, secure the larger baskets evenly around the archway. Tilt them at different angles so the look is varied.
- Fill in with medium and smaller-sized baskets to cover the chicken wire. Overlap some of the baskets so the overall look isn’t too uniform.
- Add small potted plants to some of
the baskets. - Fill the other baskets with faux greenery and faux flowers. You can also create floral bunches and secure them directly to the chicken wire to hide any wire showing through.
