I wanted some new art for above my mantle, so I drew a wave and shining sun on a piece of plywood. I cut along all the lines with a jigsaw creating a puzzle to be put back together, 35 pieces! I sanded and painted them all. The diving girl is made from wood I cut with a scroll saw and painted, as well as the seagulls.

I created a vintage farmhouse sign to fit over my sofa. I created the image in Canva, projected it onto scrap plywood, painted it, created faux shiplap using a Dremel and sanded on some age marks. Once it was done, I made a frame for it!

After being on the hunt for an apothecary cabinet and being unsuccessful, I decided to make one myself. Using IKEA dressers, plywood, wood trim pieces, paint and some handles, I made our own apothecary cabinet for a fraction of the cost.
Faced with supply chain issues and skyrocketing material prices, my husband and I decided to DIY our Skinny Shaker Style Cabinet Doors and love the way they turned out! Using basic, readily available wood material for a fraction of the cost (~$6.50 for each!) these doors have been a huge budget saver for our large scale house remodel.
