Spring Snow Style

These decorating tips will help brighten your indoor spaces while the snow thaws and spring comes into full bloom.
Homeowner Holly Blain, blogger and Instagrammer at Rustic Wild Arrow has some decorating ideas for the part of spring that may feel more like winter. Embrace spring snow style with inspiration from Holly’s Michigan home.

- Faux Flowers. Bring spring indoors with faux flowers. Add them to strategic areas around your home that you’ll see most often, such as in the kitchen, on the dining table and by the bathroom sink. “I try to incorporate flowers as much as I can,” Holly says.
- Bright Colors. Real spring weather in northern regions can be dreary. “Looking out the door from December to April is all gray skies and dead stuff,” Holly says. “Bringing in color and patterns, I can create a fresh, vibrant look.”
- Greenery. If your farmhouse style is mostly neutrals and you don’t want to opt for bright colors, use greenery to punch up the palette. Add live and faux house plants indoors to remind yourself that spring is just around the corner. “I use greenery to cool down [bright colors],” Holly says.
